The Wineries
Cartograph
The Cartograph philosophy is simple: to make Pinot Noir of unique character and complexity, you have to start with grapes that demonstrate unique character and complexity. You cultivate them in a climate and soil that suits them perfectly, pick them a little bit early, and use a light touch in the winery and the cellar. The resulting wine, balanced and nuanced, shines on its own and pairs perfectly with food.
Stark
Stark Wine began in 2003 with the production of one small lot of Dry Creek Valley Syrah. Since then, the winery has grown to reflect our passion for family, community, art, and sustainability. We combine traditional methods and modern equipment to craft our ultra-premium wine from grapes grown by reputable farmers with proven track records for growing exceptional fruit. These full-bodied, elegant wines were created to be enjoyed with food.
Garagiste Healdsburg
A garagiste is a winemaker who crafts small lots of wine with passion and care. Garagiste Healdsburg emerged from two small wineries’ shared commitment to doing things by hand and sharing the adventure with fellow wine lovers.
Filled with parts of antique winemaking machinery produced by the now-shuttered Healdsburg Machine Shop, the Garagiste tasting room reflects our belief that making wine is like making art. We created the tasting room the same way we built our wineries: with our own hands, and with a lot of advice and help from our friends.
